Now when I change to paper out of other try, I will have to go into settings and tell the software to use cassette2. However, I did find some settings for the printer over on the computer and after fussing with them for hours I finally got the printer to print to a #10 envelope. The printer setup on printer does not allow for envelopes or plain paper. The cassette1 tray is only tray with envelope guides. This wf-3530 has a serious offset between where it thinks the upper left corner of the envelope is and where to start printing. Last edited by kurt18947 November 26th, 2015 at 12:32 PM. I'm not associated with Canon or NewEgg except I occasionally buy their stuff. If I were in the printer market I'd give that a serious look. Black Friday special: Canon imageCLASS MF8289Cw Color Multi-Function 14 ppm black and color USB, Ethernet, Wifi Retail $449 for $139.99. Newer Brother printer drivers may be fine but no experience.ĮDIT: I'm on NewEgg's mailing list. The Brother (first generation large format inkjet) was an absolute PITA to print envelopes in libreoffice and I never did get it working well. Samsung appears to not check if it's really printing on letter sized paper unlike a Brother inkjet. I just played with letter sized paper until I was able to position text boxes on the letter sized paper where they would be on a #10 envelope then saved as a template. One thing I did find is that the #10 envelope in libreoffice seems to have layout 'issues'. I only print one or two at a time so use the manual bypass. I use a Samsung monochrome laser printer (MFD actually) for envelopes as well.
